Dare to Be Different: Spoil yourself with the Ultimate Pleasure Horse

In recent years, the world's horsemen have begun to rediscover the great pleasure of naturally gaited horses. Thanks to the unique, inborn, four-beat lateral gait, the Rocky Mountain Horse is a pleasure to ride. He is an animal of refined beauty with the strength to cover many miles a day - year after year. Disposition is probably his most appealing virtue. The Rocky Mountain Horse is intelligent, tractable and eager to please, real "PEOPLE HORSES". This makes them a joy to be around and ride.

Company Profile

We produce a small number of foals each year.  Only normal eyed (black, bay or normal eyed chestnut) mares are bred to top stallions. All my mares have the smooth gait and wonderful temperament that you should expect in a Rocky Mountain Horse, and pass it on to their offspring.  The stallions have been individually picked to complement each mare.  The mares enjoy the best of nutrition and care to ensure that the foals are healthy and strong.  After the foals are born they are imprinted and then handled at least twice a day.  By the time they are weaned they lead, stand tied, have had their feet trimmed, and load in a trailer.

Web Site Design

While designing this site, I became aware of a need in the Rocky Mountain Horse community for affordable web site design and hosting as well as a need for more sophisticated services such as the conversion of video tapes to still images and video steams for the web.  I have formed the company Mountain Horse Productions, Inc. to fill this need.  Please feel free to contact me about your web or video projects.
